This is a part-time, remote position where your design expertise will help our team deliver products that integrate components of intelligent systems that are able to understand real-world design workflows.

As a Graphic Designer on this project, you will support the training of AI by writing, reviewing, and validating prompt-based questions about design. Your proficiency in branding, type design, digital media design, layout, and visual storytelling will ensure that the AI-generated responses are technically sound and creatively on point.

Role Overview:

  1. Position: Remote Graphic Designer (Part-Time)
  2. Workload: 10 - 20 hours/week (possibly full time, 40 hrs/week)
  3. Length: 1-2 months minimum may become longer period of time
  4. Area: Remote (Work any time, no office)
  5. Start Date: Early to mid-July
  6. Description of work: Pay by the hour, distributed weekly via Stripe Connect.

You’re a Good Fit If You:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand)
  3. Be proficient in one or more of the following; branding/logo design, visual identity systems, web and mobile design, social media graphics, typography, and iconography, and/or color theory
  4. Have had strong written and spoken communication skills
  5. Excellent attention to details and accuracy in design
  6. Have a well-rounded portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual and creative thinking (bonus points!)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Masters Degree in Design or Visual Arts (or equivalent experience)
  2. Demonstrated experience using standard design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch
  3. Experience creating design specifications or design rationale documentation

Interview Process:

  • Take action on Desktop or Laptop (Mobile not supported)
  • Ensure screen sharing is enabled in your browser – must have enabled
You will engage in an AI interview, consisting of:
  • Questions about your design background
  • writing a prompt alongside a design task and sharing your screen
  • Checking and rating responses for AI efficacy and accuracy
