Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate high-level objectives into actionable insights, trends, and key sample identification using data and analytics.
  • Gather, analyze, combine, and aggregate data from multiple sources to solve complex problems related to audit risks, fraud detection, and digital forensics.
  • Develop innovative solutions using a variety of tools, models, and techniques, and communicate the possibilities and limitations of these solutions to stakeholders.
  • Take full ownership of building and maintaining continuous monitoring and reporting products to ensure the quality and accuracy of the solutions implemented.
  • Work closely with peers and subject matter experts to validate results and ensure that the solutions meet the desired outcomes and objectives

What Are We Looking For:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related area.
  • Experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the audit, fraud detection, or forensic investigation space.
  • Proficiency in programming languages/libraries such as PowerShell, Python, R, SQL, and experience with cloud-based data flows and visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and derive meaningful insights and recommendations, both independently and as a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and solutions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders
  • Process mining experience is preferred, using tools such as Celonis or Aris.
  • Proven Maersk experience for business acumen, process and technology awareness is preferred.
