Job purpose:

Fresher member of a larger team in the GDS Consulting Services team to work on various Database projects.

Your client responsibilities:

  1. Need to work as a team member to contribute in various technical streams of El implementation project.
  2. Provide product and design level technical best practices
  3. Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators
  4. Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the lead

Your people responsibilities

  4. Technical skills requirements
  5. BE/BTech/MCA/MBA with adequate industry experience
  6. Should be at least around 0-1 years of experience in Enterprise Intelligence
  7. Knowledge on SQL and procedural SQL languages
  8. Scripting knowledge in Python, R or any other programming language
  9. Should have problem solving skills
  10. Should be able to build code logic to a given problem.
  11. Need to have basic data analysis skills and data handling skills
  12. Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
  13. Excellent business communication, Consulting, Quality process skills
  14. Must be a team player
  15. Specific Role requirements
  16. Understand the requirements and come up with the solutions using backed technologies like SQL Server,
  17. Oracle and Teradata etc.
  18. Must be able to analyse and design Database objects
  19. Must be hands on Unix scripting
  20. Develop logical and physical data flow data models for various applications.
  21. Good exposure to SSIS, SSRS, SQLServer, DB2, Oracle, Teradata
  22. Working knowledge of any other ETL tool preferably SAP BODS/DataStage is a big plus

  • Year of pass out
