Position Overview
Reporting to the AI, Automation and Data Science Manager, the AI / ML / Data Scientist is responsible for utilizing advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation techniques to extract actionable insights from diverse datasets. The incumbent should have a robust understanding of key AI / ML concepts and combine their expertise in data, computational science, and technology with MKC consumer-oriented business knowledge. Ultimately will drive high-value insights into the organization and steer strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Mine and analyze data from enterprise databases by applying statistics, machine learning, and analytic approaches to drive optimization and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with functions, functional solution leads, and strategic solution build teams to deploy scalable AI/ML-infused applications.
- Choose appropriate algorithms based on the nature of the problem, data structure, and desired outcomes.
- Train ML models using historical data and assess their performance against predefined metrics.
- Continuously optimize and fine-tune models for improved accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Data, Finance or relevant field.
- Automation Tools and Frameworks
- Programming, Testing and QA

- Technical knowledge for Data environments, transformation, models and queries
