About the roleWe are hiring for Android Developer Interns to be part of Paytm Money Mobile Development Team to develop our Android app for Paytm Money in Bangalore.

This is an amazing opportunity for a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields student or recent graduate to gain more experience in the realm of Android development, learn from seasoned engineers, and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As an Android Developer Intern, you will be a key player in the mobile engineering team. You will focus on building and improving Android apps used by millions of users. Whether it's crafting clean, sharp code, testing new mobile features, or working closely with designers and back-end developers, this role is an opportunity to impact customers with your work and learn the ropes in the process.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Volunteering your time for the building of Android App (design, development & maintenance).
  2. Work closely with senior developers to build a high quality, high performance code and design in Java / Kotlin.
  3. Assistance in fixing bugs and improvement in code to produce topnotch user experiences.
  4. Collaborate with UI/UX teams to follow and produce high quality and responsive interfaces.
  5. You’ll work on new features, contribute to code review, or share your input on how we canmake things better for the team.
  6. Keep up with new developments in mobile technologies and tools, especially those in the Android space.

Who Can Apply

  1. We want people who are eager to drive; proud to represent our equipment, and passionate about traveling the country.
  2. Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar, or completed one recently.
  3. Strong fundamentals in Java/Kotlin and Android development concepts.
  4. Experienced with tools such as Android Studio, XML layouts and integrating RESTful APIs.
  5. Some exposure to Git or other version control systems.
  6. Self-motivated with a passion for mobile technology and hands-on coding.
Have a strong analytical and problem solving skills with good communication skills.

Bonus Skills (Good to have)

  1. Knowledge of tools and systems such as Firebase, SQLite, or third party libraries.
  2. Personal or academic projects using Android published in GitHub or Google Play.
